NFOC Conference Guide

NFOC 2015

NFOC is the most comprehensive fiber optic, telecommunications, broadcast, and broadband technologies conference of its kind, attracting world-class manufacturers, distributors and industry professionals from across the nation! For 2015, NFOC’s size and scope has expanded into broadcast and broadband technologies.

Broadband Boulevard The Path to Enlightenment

What do these technologies all have in common? An insatiable appetite for broadband!

The focus of this year’s NFOC is Broadband Boulevard. Our exhibit floor will take you down the path of enlightenment as it reveals the new broadband technologies that are enabling businesses and communities to operate more efficiently.

For example, more fiber optic backbones will be put into place to support new wireless technologies. These include Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), which will support mobile communications among people as well as between devices and machines.

Broadcast Central New for 2015!

NFOC’s size and scope have expanded to include the broadcast industry! Today’s broadcasters transmit high definition TV programs (HDTV), and rely on the image clarity provided by fiber optic cabling to interconnect cameras and production equipment.

TV broadcasters are also vital communication links that provide up-to-date emergency information to residents and first responders in disaster situations.

Come to the NFOC and learn about latest equipment being used by broadcasters to ensure optimum reliability and performance. These include the latest studio monitors, editing equipment, control panels, cameras, connectivity equipment and more. FIS Blue, Inc. will be on hand to demonstrate the advantages of fiber optic cabling, expanded beam connectors, and other solutions for achieving top quality broadcasts from the field as well as the production studio.
